This is an oboe class concert for the students of the Hochschule der Künste Bern, but my good friend in the théâtre musical program has staged a unique version of Bruno Maderna's Solo per musette, oboe, oboe d'amore, corno inglese (1971) which we will perform on this concert! It's a great piece, and a great preview of her Master Thesis program 'Catastrophe.'
